Moments after the press conference shooting, the identity of Nathan's assassin is revealed, resulting in Peter and Greg delving into an unknown world. Sylar -- now with his powers partially restored -- visits Claire with the motive of giving his powers a boost that would make him an unstoppable force. Across the globe in Tokyo, Hiro and Ando must guard a family secret that, if revealed, could tear the planet apart; and learn that speedster Daphne, may have a hand in a grim future. In New York City, Maya and Suresh have a breakthrough that may change the world forever.

Angela and Peter square off over how to prevent a seemingly unstoppable worldwide catastrophe. Sylar heads up an attack on the Company's main facility, but is shocked by what he finds on Level 5. While battling Elle, a dozen criminals with potentially devastating abilities are able to escape the facility. Meanwhile, Claire makes a discovery about her abilities; Hiro and Ando follow Daphne to Paris; Suresh's research, as well as his relationship with Maya, progress; and Matt finds a guide to lead him through unfamiliar territory.

Four villains -- Knox, Flint, The German and Jesse -- break into a bank and take hostages along the way, leading Angela to send H.R.G. and his new partner after them. Meanwhile, Hiro and Ando follow Daphne, but run into The Haitian along the way; Peter must figure out what he lost in order to prevent a disasterous future; Tracy leaves Washington, D.C. to uncover information about Niki; and Meredith teaches Claire how to fight.

After getting a glimpse of a future in which everyone has abilities, Peter uses this information to save the world but risks his life and the lives of those he loves most in the process. Now that Angela's half of the formula has been stolen as well, Hiro and Ando set out to find which villain hired Daphne to steal it. To do so, they must turn to the one person who knows the villains the best -- Adam Monroe. Following the incident at the bank, H.R.G. works to get rid of his unlikely partner. Meanwhile, Suresh lets his impulses get the best of him; and Linderman and Molly make their return.

Claire vies to take down Stephen Canfield, a level 5 who can create black holes, but is unaware that others are close behind. Peter leaves the grisly future only to find that the experience has changed him forever. Meanwhile, Hiro befriends Daphne and Knox when Adam Monroe is unable to get them to the formula; Suresh's need to fix his research puts Maya in danger; and the true identity of Linderman is revealed.

As Hiro and the others receive offers to join Pinehearst Industries, Peter has a shocking meeting with its founder. Meanwhile, Claire and her mother join forces to save Meredith from Doyle, who has the ability to take physical control of others; Matt meets his future wife; and Nathan takes Tracy to Suresh hoping for an explanation of her abilities.

Trapped, Nathan and Tracy must fight to save their lives against Suresh, who has changed dramatically. Elle returns with shocking news for Claire and her family. Meanwhile, Angela tries to convince Sylar to save Peter; Daphne is ordered to kill Matt or she will be killed herself; and Hiro questions Usutu's advice.

Hiro travels back in time to determine what forced Arthur Petrelli to fake his death and create Pinehearst. in the past, he also witnesses Thompson's protege Meredith deal with her brother, and Sylar make a discovery about his powers.

After a strike against Ando and Hiro in Africa, Arthur has Knox and Flint track down Peter and Claire. Meanwhile, Sylar has a shocking confrontation with Elle; Nathan is shocked that his father is alive; Suresh begins the testing on his new formula; and Matt tries to wake up Angela.

After getting Sylar and Elle back together, Arthur has them find Claire and bring her to him. Matt, Hiro and Ando head out to follow Daphne to Lawrence, KS to uncover what she's been hiding. Meanwhile, Nathan and Peter travel to Haiti to find the only person who can stop their father--The Haitian.

The eclipse plays havoc with superpowers, forcing Ando to seek out two comic book fans to help Hiro recover his memory. Meanwhile, HRG hunts down Sylar and Elle after Claire is critically injured, and Nathan and Peter help the Haitian in battle against his brother, Baron Samedi.

In order to stop Arthur, Hiro and Claire team up and travel back in time to when Kaito gave Claire to H.R.G. Meanwhile, Peter and the Haitian head out to stop Arthur, but are stopped by Sylar; and Suresh has a breakthrough with the formula.

Following the showdown against Arthur, Nathan and Peter find themselves pitted against one another, and Nathan makes a decision that will have an effect on the entire world. Meanwhile, Sylar holds Claire, Noah, Meredith and Angela hostage at Primatech; Ando, Matt and Daphne try to rescue Hiro and find their only hope may lie in Suresh.

Months after explosions brought down Pinehurst and Primatech, our Heroes try to put the past behind them and begin new lives. Now powerless, Hiro tries to train a reluctant Ando to be a true superhero. Suresh returns to life as a taxi driver, Peter is back to saving lives, and Daphne and Matt try to live as a normal couple. Claire's attempt to live a regular life is cut short when she uncovers a deadly plot orchestrated by Nathan to track down and capture those with abilities. Meanwhile, Sylar begins the search for his real parents.

Following a chain of unexpected events, our Heroes are on the run from their latest adversary and one of their own, Nathan Petrelli. After Matt paints a series of prophetic images, the tragic fate of someone close to him is revealed. Elsewhere, Sylar continues his search for his father and encounters a young outcast with information and an ability of his own.

After the plane crash, the President investigates Nathan's activities to determine if he's in control. Claire protects a new friend from her father, while the fugitives travel to India to seek out an ally.

While holding HRG hostage, Matt employs unique interrogation techniques to get the truth as to how he became a part of Nathan's plot. Meanwhile, the information Matt uncovers takes Peter face-to-face with Danko.

Matt receives a tip from Rebel and heads to Building 26 with Peter to save Daphne and find the files that will expose Nathan's government plot. Claire partners up with an unlikely source to smuggle Alex out of the city. Sylar and Luke continue on their road trip, and Sylar begins to recall memories of his father that lead him to the truth about his mother. Meanwhile, The Hunter puts his plan into action, resulting in an explosive ending.

While Nathan helps Matt defuse an explosive situation, Sylar finally catches up to Samson Gray for a father-and-son chat.

Bennet convinces Danko to get Tracy out of Building 26 in order to have her help them find Rebel. Angela is able to escape being captured and turns to an old friend for help. In Los Angeles, Hiro and Ando continue on with their mission from Rebel to protect the newest hero.

With Nathan's ability made public, his operation is now out of his hands. He and Claire are forced to hide in Mexico. As Danko takes control of the government operation, he teams up with an unlikely partner to put his plan into effect. Meanwhile, Angela and Peter work on their relationship as they hide in a church.

As Danko continues to be in charge of the operation, someone close to him is put at risk. Bennet's life continues to spiral downhill with his marriage on the brink of its breaking point. Meanwhile, Hiro and Ando bring a special delivery to Matt and Angela delves into her past.

With help from Peter, Claire, Nathan, and Bennet, Angela is able to uncover her past, revealing dark secrets that have long remain hidden. Meanwhile, Mohinder learns that his father was involved in a secret government operation.

Hiro and Ando take extensive measures to bring down Building 26. As Sylar continues with his unusual partnership, he has an unexpected identity crisis. Meanwhile, Matt begins to realize he has new priorities now that he is a father, and Nathan sets out to try to fix the wrongs of the government operation he began.

Nathan tries to prevent Sylar from meeting the President. Angela seeks out Matt because of a dream that he will save Nathan. Sylar has his own agenda regarding his partner. Hiro finds there are consequences that come with the return of his powers.
